This fan is powered by heat of stove top,with surface temperature between 50ºC-350ºC (122ºF-662ºF),if your stove is heat insulation design on the top,please do not buy,the fan will can’t work efficiently or even totally can’t work on your stove.

The Wrong&Correct Position

Please DO NOT place the fan in front of the chimney or near the chimney,the temperature around chimney pipe is very high,it may cause damage of your fan.The optimum position is at the side or back part of the stove top.

The Operating Temperature

The operating temperature do not exceed 350ºC (662ºF),the higher temperature will cause damage to the components of the stove fan.The optimum temperature range is 80-250°C(176°F-482°F).We suggest use a stove thermometer to monitor the temperature to avoid damages by overheat.

What to Do If Noise

If there is noise caused by the spinning fan,please check the fan blade when stop working,normally it’s because the blade is a little bent,rotate the blade with your finger,find the bent part,fix it to the right position by hand,no tool needed.We inspected every fan before sent to our customers,and try our best to protect the item well,but sometimes it still happened after shipping.As the blade is aluminum,not iron or other hard materials,so it’s also very easy to be fixed.

Difference:Electric Blower Fan VS Heat Powered Stove Fan

Please keep in mind that it doesn't operate like a electric blower fan,you won't feel strong air pushing from the blades even in front of it. Rather, this is designed to distribute the heat around throughout the whole room. Here's the difference: when you use a electric blower fan on your stove,you may feel breeze as you stand in front of it.With this heat powered fan,you don't notice the breeze but will feel the overall room temperature rise.It silently moves the air above the surface of the stove increasing the efficiency without using electricity.So please do not take it as a product quality problem.

Maintenance

This stove fan do not require particular maintenance in normal operation,just dust it off occasionally, and put some light oil on the blade shaft to keep it spinning smoothly and quietly.

· Monitor stove temperature from 100-800°F(40-425°C).(+/- 10%)

· Identifies the ideal burn temperature 260-575°F(125-300°C),pointer in the “Optimum Performance” zone,where the fuel consumption,heat output is at its most efficient.

· “Creosote Buildup” indicates a temperature that is too low,which can cause creosote and tar deposits in the stove and chimney,and the buildup is a fire hazard.

Installation

· Magnet attaches the thermometer to the stove

· For best results,place the thermometer on the stove pipe 18’’(45CM) above the stove.

· For Single wall flue pipe only,if not,it can also be placed on the stove top or the side of the stove.
